In 2024, Wakyin released “Beso (Fruta Fresca),” a modern reinterpretation that blends afro house, minimalist percussion, and a chill atmosphere. It retains part of Vives’s original vocals, with the Colombian icon officially collaborating on the remix. The new version went viral on TikTok and racked up millions of plays on SoundCloud and other platforms.
